Rocell signs agreement with BOI - December 7, 2007
Rocell Ceramics Lanka Plc has just signed an agreement with the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka to build a manufacturing plant to produce porcelain tiles for the local and export markets. The factory represents an investment of US$ 13 million and will be located at Kiriwaththuduwa, Homagama. This latest facility for Rocell is expected to provide employment for about 220 workers and will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology imported from Italy. Construction work is planned to start soon with commercial production scheduled to begin in 2010.
