Manager - Casting Department

The Casting Manager will lead a team of casters to achieve the monthly budgeted production plan. His responsibilities include the achievement of production capacities, yield, improving production process, identifying defects and trouble shooting, improving the casting process and ability to identify and trouble shoot the problems encountered with plaster moulds.

He will be administering the daily functions of the process including safe and effective utilization of plant and machinery, training and supervising of the entire casting work force. Key components of his job are achieving targeted volumes, achieving the stipulated production yield and identification and improvement to the process.

Requires a minimum of 5 years work experience in a reputed sanitary ware manufacturing organization.

Casters

As a caster, the main responsibilities include casting of Sanitary ware products on low pressure mechanized casting benches using Plaster moulds and green finishing and delivering the products ready for drying.

His duties also include training of new employees and the housekeeping of the working area. The caster must give importance to identification of defects and continuous quality improvement and while improving productivity.

Candidates require a minimum of 3 years experience in low pressure casting in a reputed sanitary ware manufacturing plant.
